I’m Marc LaClear, the author of Pre-Trib Truth. I defend a pre-tribulational, premillennial, futurist reading of biblical prophecy. Christians who affirm Scripture’s authority disagree about these questions; their arguments deserve a fair hearing.

Scripture and other sources

Scripture is the authority for the theological conclusions here. Commentaries, language tools, and historical documents help explain the disputed readings. A source’s presence in a reading list does not mean it agrees with my conclusion.

A distinction matters throughout these studies: what a passage explicitly says is not identical to every conclusion drawn by connecting it with other passages. Likewise, an earlier writer’s expectation of deliverance does not by itself establish a complete modern rapture chronology.
